[04/22/2024, FAIRFAX, VA]– The League for Sportsmen, Law Enforcement & Defense (“The League”) proudly announces its endorsement of Donald Trump for President of the United States in the upcoming 2024 election.
As an organization dedicated to promoting the interests of sportsmen, law enforcement officers, and defenders of our nation, The League recognizes the importance of strong and effective leadership in the Oval Office. After carefully considering and evaluating the presidential candidate pool, The League firmly believes that Donald Trump is the best choice to lead our country again.
President Trump has demonstrated unwavering support for our law enforcement officers, consistently advocating for policies that prioritize their safety and well-being. His commitment to law and order has been evident throughout his tenure, and he has taken decisive action to uphold the rule of law and protect our communities.
Jim Fotis, President of the League, wrote in the endorsement letter addressed to Donald J. Trump: “You are the only candidate who is aggressively pro-law enforcement and will fight to bring law and order back to America. You have a solid vocal commitment to our key issues, including supporting law enforcement, fully funding the police, and ensuring that our men and women in blue have the resources they need to do their jobs. You also acknowledge the need to keep our Constitution intact by strongly supporting the Bill Of Rights, knowing and asserting that our First and Second Amendments are the fail-safes of our society because, without them, we are not truly free.”
The League urges all sportsmen, law enforcement officers, and defenders of our nation to join us in supporting Donald Trump for President. Together, we can ensure that our country remains safe, prosperous, and free for future generations.
